Frodo inherits the One Ring from his cousin Bilbo Baggins and undertakes the quest to destroy it in the fires of Mount Doom in Mordor. Although he is wounded along the way and becomes increasingly burdened by the Ring as it nears Mordor, his determination and courage allow him to be successful in his quest.
The 1oz silver coin shows the valiant hobbit in colour holding the One Ring with loyal friends Samwise Gamgee and Merry Brandybuck engraved in the background. The smaller ¼oz gold coin features a clean, close-up view of the courageous Hobbit holding the One Ring around his neck. On the opposite side, the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II confirms the legal tender status of the coin.
Each one arrives in a display-ready coin case inside a THE LORD OF THE RINGS-themed box. A Certificate of Authenticity is also included which carries the coin’s unique serial number as well as providing a guarantee of the purity of the metal.
