Chibi® Coin Collection Disney Series – Minnie Mouse 1oz Silver Coin
After our first coin for Mickey Mouse, the second in our new Disney Chibi® Coin Series had to be for his long-time sweetheart, Minnie Mouse.
Minnie Mouse has been a star since she first burst onto the screen in Steamboat Willie on November 18, 1928. Walt Disney himself provided the voice for Minnie in the earliest cartoons, but from early 1930s that role was passed on to other staff. She has appeared in over 70 cartoons with Mickey Mouse and Pluto. A popular character, Minnie has brought joy to many during her illustrious career.
The Disney-themed box features the iconic fashionista front and centre - a large window revealing the sweetest prize inside. This legal tender coin is made from 1oz of pure silver which has been shaped and coloured to resemble Minnie. She is captured in her trademark bow, white bloomers, gloves and oversized high heel pumps. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II is found on the opposite side as confirmation that this is still a legal tender coin.
The Certificate of Authenticity printed on the box confirms the limited mintage of only 2,000, along with the coin’s unique serial number. Just as Minnie touches hearts and brings joy wherever she goes, we feel sure this coin will do the same. So, don’t wait too long to order yours!
