Today we reveal the first Chibi® Coin in our new FANTASTIC BEASTS™ series and it features none other than the famous Magizoologist, Newt Scamander!
Early in life, Scamander developed an interest in magical creatures. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he was sorted into Hufflepuff House. He is the author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which became a best-seller and established Scamander a respected expert in the field of Magizoology.
This limited-edition coin, made from 1oz of pure silver, represents Newt – with his unkempt hair and iconic attire of blue coat, brown vest, bow tie and Hufflepuff scarf. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, found on the obverse side, confirms it as a legal tender coin - despite its unique colouring and shape!
The outer box is FANTASTIC BEASTS themed and includes a large window to allow you to easily display this treasured first collectible in the series. A Certificate of Authenticity is printed on the box with the coin’s unique serial number. Inside the coin is placed inside a specially designed case, moulded to the coin’s shape, for additional protection.
