Attention all American history lovers! Here is the final release in our excellent Mt. Rushmore Chibi® series! This coin features the incredible leader, Abraham Lincoln, in 1oz pure silver!
As a young adult, Abraham Lincoln worked as a flatboat navigator, storekeeper, soldier, surveyor, and postmaster. At age 25 he was elected to the local government in Springfield, Illinois. Once there, he taught himself law, opened a law practice, and earned the nickname "Honest Abe."
This lovely commemorative piece has been shaped and coloured to resemble Abraham Lincoln standing proudly. He is shown wearing his Black suit, bow tie and signature top hat (fun fact: he used to stash his important documents in there!). Engraved on the obverse is the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll, confirming the coin as legal tender.
Each coin is preserved in an acrylic capsule and held inside a specially designed box, featuring the national colours of the U.S and images of Mt. Rushmore on the sides. A large display window is also included on the front! Turn to the back for a Certificate of Authenticity and the coin’s unique number in the limited mintage of 2,000.
